I.B.N. Savio is part of the Savio Group

The Savio Group has developed since the 1980s led by the Stefanelli family and has experienced steady growth over the years, establishing itself as anexcellence in the Italian pharmaceutical scene. A success that today has led him to employ 500 people and achieve a turnover of more than 100 million euros.

The Group is distinguished by its unwavering focus on the entire scientific community: it cultivates active collaboration with physicians, practitioners, distributors, and institutional healthcare representatives to improve therapeutic adherence and the health of patients with chronic diseases.

It forges strategic partnerships, supports and trains its stakeholders through conferences and CME courses, and organizes initiatives marked by environmental sustainability and social responsibility.

Always active in RD, the Group is mainly focused on the areas of diabetology, osteoarticular, endocrinology, cardiometabolic, and gastroenterology and boasts 2 production sites in Italy: one in Ronco Scrivia, specializing in Medical Devices, and one in Pavia, specializing in oral liquid and solid drugs.

The Group’s plans, however, are not limited to national borders: in addition to producing specialty pharmaceuticals for third parties destined for the entire globe, it is now committed to distributing its products in more and more foreign markets.

The Group's structure

I.B.N. Savio is a wholly owned subsidiary of the wholly Italian-owned parent company F&S Holding S.r.l.

The Group engages in a comprehensive range of activities, including research, production, and distribution of therapeutic solutions, as well as scientific dissemination among health professionals. A comprehensive pathway that testifies to the passion and commitment to offering quality therapeutic solutions and support to Patients, General Practitioners, Specialists, Distributors and Institutional Representatives of the health care world.

Group companies

The name SAVIO derives from the first production plant dating back to 1925, purchased by the Group around the mid-1980s (Istituto Chimico Nazionale Savio) and intends to represent, through the adjective “savio”, the authoritative experience and depth of judgment in the pharmaceutical sector. The four-leaf clover, always recognized as a lucky symbol, through the color red, expresses dedication and passion in pursuing one’s goals, while the number “four” of petals, an indicator of solidity and security, represents stability and attachment to one’s Italian roots.
